A red made in tribute, from vines set high in the Agly valley at 300m — stony brown schist at Latour-de-France, black schist at Tautavel — where Mediterranean sun and constant wind keep the fruit naturally healthy.

Blend: 40% Syrah, 30% Carignan, 20% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre

Alcohol: 14%

Tasting Notes

Purple-tinted red robe. Nose of stewed dark fruit, spice, praline, vanilla and raspberry. Powerful on the palate — fruit-forward at first, then tannins that bring roundness and length.

In the Vineyard & Cellar

Hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts in conical concrete vats, aged 6–12 months in conical wood vats and Stockinger barrels before blending.

Pairs Well With

Game in sauce, aged cheeses, dark chocolate desserts.
